How does onboarding work?
After subscribing, we’ll schedule a kickoff call within 24 hours. During this 90-minute session, we’ll establish priorities and set up your Trello board. Within 48 hours, we’ll have your first sprint planned and ready to begin.
Further instructions on how to use the Trello board to request features can be found on the board itself.
How do you handle large feature requests?
Larger requests are broken down on Galekt’s end. This applies to full-scale web app or mobile app features, change requests or new feature requests, etc. You should expect to receive a reasonable amount of work every two-week until the entire request is done.
What if my development needs change month to month?
That’s exactly why our subscription model exists! You can scale your team up or down with 15 days’ notice. If you need to pause development entirely, you can do so without losing your place in our schedule.
What technologies can you work with?
While we specialize in MEAN/MERN stacks, React Native, and Ionic for mobile development, we can adapt to your existing technology stack if needed. For AI integration, we work with Python alongside these core technologies.
Can I request urgent features outside the sprint cycle?
Absolutely. While we prioritize predictable delivery through our sprint system, we understand that urgent needs arise. Your subscription includes a “fast lane” for critical fixes or features that can be deployed outside the regular sprint cycle.
What happens to my code and intellectual property?
You retain 100% ownership of all code created during your subscription. We provide full documentation and access to repositories, ensuring you’re never locked in or dependent on us.
Are there any requests you don’t support?
Absolutely. We do not support the following for MVP development pack: Games, 3D or animation heavy development, complex hardware or IoT integrations.
Due to the faster delivery and high-quality output, we only work with MEAN or MERN and, Ionic or React Native for mobile as our tech-stack (which you can choose from at the start of your project). Please refer to our Monthly subscription to handle specific tech-stack requirements.
We do not handle UI/UX projects but we can suggest one of our design partners for that.
Are there any refunds?
Due to the custom requirements and high–quality nature of the work, there will be no refunds issued past the first week of service. However, no refunds will be issued for the completed work.
What if I have one-time development need?
That’s fine. We have created the MVP Development Pack just for you. You can always return when you have additional development needs and opt for this subscription plan.
